It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear husband, father & grandfather, Elvin Dallyn. Elvin was born on March 26, 1937 in Provost, Alberta to Alf & Ena (nee McCluskey) Dallyn. He was raised in Ribstone, AB and married Carole Tunney on March 17, 1960. Together they farmed and raised their family on the Tunney homestead near Edgerton. Elvin passed away peacefully June 16, 2010 with his family by his side. Elvin will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 50 years, Carole; sons, Marty (Annette) of Chauvin, Darcey (Kim) of Edgerton and Kelly (Johanna) of Calgary; grandchildren, Courtney (Cindy), Nathan (Holly), David (Raquel), Kailynne (Wade), Devin, Lindsay, Kelsey and Sydnee; brothers, Murray (Norma) and Arvid (Holly); as well as numerous sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elvin was predeceased by his parents, Alf & Ena; stepfather, Everett; brother in law, Robert.
