Olga Elina Downing was born on February 28, 1911 in Lycksele, Sweden to Victor & Eva (nee Johansson) Israelson. Olga passed away peacefully on June 19, 2010 at the Provost Health Center at the age of 99 years. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children, Lloyd (Una) Downing, Glen (Dorothy) Downing, Jean (Bill) Kleijnen, Mel (Marg) Downing, Eileen (Bill) Leschasin, Robert (Deb) Downing, Doris (Albey) McNalley and Dale (Vicky) Downing; brothers, Herb and Alvin (Ellen); sisters, Victoria and Mabel; daughter in law, Joanne; 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Vern; great great granddaughter, Madelyn; brothers, John (Vivian), George (Edith), Elmer (Martha); sisters, Lily (Maynard), Helga, Ruby (Raymond); brothers in law, Ralph and William (Oakey).
