Obituary of Jeanette Alice Schneider

Jeanette Alice Schneider (Beatty), former resident of Provost, Alberta, died suddenly on August 4, 2010 in an automobile accident. Jeanette was born on March 26, 1950 in Provost, Alberta to Herb & Clara Beatty. She was raised in the Green Glade area and went to school in Chauvin, Alberta where she enjoyed playing sports such as volleyball and basketball. Another favorite pass time as a child was riding horses. On November 18, 1967, Jeanette married Lorne Schneider in their home town of Provost. Together they raised their family and farmed on the family homestead. They lived on the farm until 1981 when they moved to town. Jeanette and Lorne continued to live in Provost until 3 years ago when the retired and move to Port Alberni, B.C. The two have continued together enjoying their time hunting, camping, playing cards and most importantly, spending as much time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Lorne Schneider;children, Yvonne(Marty) Paulgaard of Red Deer, Christine (Marco) Gilbert of Red Deer, Darren Schneider of Red Deer and Leslie Burroughs of Red Deer; grandchildren, Ashley (Jamie), Scott, Ryley, Nicholas, Noah, Mackenzie, Tristen, Xander and Trinidy;great grandchildren, Trevan, Ryder and Jaxon; step mother, Colleen Beatty;sister, Lorna (Dennis) Giggs; brother in law, Tom (Bernice) Schneider; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Jeanette was predeceased by her parents, Herb & Clara (nee White) Beatty.
