Obituary of Julia Katherine Sieben

Julia Kay Sieben (Gerling) was born February 25, 1914 in Cosine, Saskatchewan to Joseph and Julia Weinkauf. Julia passed away peacefully with her granddaughter holding her hand at Kerrobert Buena Vista Lodge on September 1, 2010 at the age of 96. Julia was a member of the C.W.L and her interests included gardening, cooking, and socializing. She was a great mother to her only son Ken and cared deeply for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son, Ken (Ruth) Gerling; 5 grandchildren, Randy, Trent, Dwight, Carmen (Tony), Charmaine (Mike); 4 great grandchildren, Michael and Kale Hodges, Austin and Kamryn Reiber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Guided at all times by her strong faith, Julia lived a happy, fulfilled life. Though Mom is gone, she will be forever in our hearts. Julia is predeceased by her husbands, John Gerling (1976) and Ambrose Sieben (2000).
