Dearest Carol and family: Loosing someone you love puts a big hole in your heart and it hurts. The sadness and loneliness doesn't fade but the waves of tears do. In time, we fill our hearts with fond memories and a part of the one we've lost, lives on in us forever. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your husband and father.

My Dearest Carol, Donna, Darlene, Dwayne and Dianah and families, I am so sorry for the loss of Harold. I remember him coming in from the field for lunch, eating, then giving a little wave saying so good to see you to me but times awasting. I have to get back to the field. I hope heaven has a field or two for him to work. I wish you all to survive Harold's passing with the strength that is so necessary. I know he loved all of you until the end of time. Harold will be missed so much. I hope the kids and grandkids remember his stories and tell them as he will then never leave you. Shirley in Yuma.

Carol, I met Dawn and Purvis in Phoenix and got the news about Harold. I wished to pass on my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. We always had so much fun when you would come to Calgary for the bull sale with Guy and of course, fishing. Delsing has already contacted you, but I had to tell you my feelings as well. My family sends a prayer and our love.

Dear Carol and Family; I was very sorry to hear of Harold’s passing. I wish to express my sincere sympathy and condolence. I knew Harold since grade school. He was a friend and classmate of mine. He was my neighbor; we both raised our families in the same area. He provided help when I was in need. Harold rented land from my Dad; he was very conscientious about how he farmed it and cared for it as his own. I taught the children of Harold and Carol. They were children of solid character, children with morals and values, respectful children with a solid work ethic, children who made teaching rewarding and fulfilling. Such children are a tribute to the parents who raised them. Harold was a seriously committed, devoted and successful farmer; he worked at doing his very best. He was a fine man, a friendly man, a man who filled his life with what he loved - and will be sadly missed in the community. May you all take some comfort in knowing others share your sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wally Herle

Dear Carol and Family: The most sincere regrets I can offer for you and your family. I had a lot of good times with Harold when we were in school toghether in Provost. I always thought of him as a genuine person, lots of fun and one of the " really good guys ". I have not seen Harold a lot over the years, but have thought of him endless times. Harold in my opinion was no doubt one of the best people I have ever known. You have lost a fine Man. Again, My sincere regrets. George Fleck.

Dear Carol & family, I was so sorry to hear of Harold's passing. I have many, many memories of our school years together. Harold was kind, thoughtful, a friend to all, and a decent person. I had so hoped that Harold would live to attend our class reunion this summer but that was not to be. I know he would have enjoyed talking, talking, talking and renewing old friendships. Harold was the kind that meant it when he said it was good to see you. We will honor his memory when we have our reunion. i will remember him with fondness. He was 11 days older than me so we grew up in similar circumstances. His roots were important to him- a truly fine person. Take comfort from knowing others care and that Harold will live on in our hearts and minds.
