Norman Charles Schug was born on January 23, 1927 in Provost, AB to Alfred & Caroline (nee Schneider) Schug. He passed away peacefully on February 16, 2011 at the age of 84 at the Provost Health Center. Norman enjoyed everything from farming to hunting. He shot his last moose in the fall of 2009 at the age of 82. Norman is survived by his children, Dale Schug (Sharon) and their children Brandi (Peter), Laurel, Kevin & Lila; Cindy Schug; daughter in-law, Myrna Schug and her children, Bryce, Dillan, Emily & M'Ria; Gerald Schug and his children, Stephanie (Chris), Anthony, Graham & Adam; great grandson, Ryan; sisters, Laurene Schug and Lillian Smythe; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen; son, Terry; parents, Alfred & Caroline; brothers, Adrian, Alvin & Dennis; sister, Cecilia and an infant sister.
