Elsie Etheline was born on August 12, 1917 in Provost, Alberta to Sammy & Mabel (nee Portway) Bell. She passed away peacefully on February 20, 2011 at the age of 93 years at the Provost Health Centre. Elsie will not soon be forgotten by her children, Joan (Calvin) Ferrier of Hayter, Barbara (Way) Flinn of Olds, Grant (Beverly) Giggs of Chauvin; grandchildren, Laurie, Tim (Bonnie), Kimberly, Jacki; great-grandchildren, Megan, Kyle, Zabrina, Whitney, Emma, Anika; sisters, Daisy Bourne and Dorothy (Carl) Guthrie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; brother, Peter (Inga) Bell; sisters, Mary (Elwood) White, Grace (Dave) Tarant; brother in law, Ed Bourne.
