Dorothy was born to Harold and Margaret (nee Gamble) Bentley on September 4, 1917 in Calgary, Alberta. She passed away February 20, 2011 at the age of 93 years in Provost, Alberta. Dorothy will be forever missed by five daughters, Doris (Morley) Haldenby, Karen (Ron) Holmes, Joyce Mailer, Georgette (Tom) Bailey, Valerie (Garnet) Stang; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister, Grace Long; one brother-in-law, Robert (Mary) Murray; one sister-in-law, Carol Murray and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George; parents, Harold and Margaret; stepmother, Minnie (Mary) Bentley; brothers-in-law, Len Long, Walter (Venus) Murray, John Murray; and sisters-in-law, Mabel (Bill) Rennie, Bella (Art) Kirk, and Jeannie Murray.
