Obituary of Katie F. Kletzel

Katie Kletzel was born October 2, 1922 to John and Matilda Weninger and peacefully passed away on June 13, 2011 at the age of 88 years at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon. Katie loved her church, her God, and most of all she loved her family. There's no doubt she loved a good laugh and a great game of Scrabble. With heavy hearts we say good-bye to our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves to mourn, her children, Gerald (Leona), Gail (Lawrence) Loehndorf, Gilbert (Gerry), Eileen Christopherson, Donna (Fred) Baum, Audrey (Joe) Watchel, Robert (Debbie); twenty-two grandchildren, and thirty-six great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Ida Zerr, Emil (Edna) Weninger, Vic (Paul) Mostoway, Lil Boechler; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Windle, Magdaline Hendricks, Verna Kletzel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Katie was predeceased by her husband, Adam "Jim", January 10, 2001; parents, John, July 21, 1977, and Matilda, April 16, 1983; grandson, Craig Kletzel, June 18, 2002; great-grandson, Jakob Gilham, and son-in-law, Mel Christopherson, May 17, 2011.
