Obituary of Patricia Jane Hansen

Patricia Jane Hansen was born November 19, 1951 to Norman and Marjorie Wells in Unity, Saskatchewan.

Pat grew up on a farm with her three siblings, Gordon, Betty and Douglas near Evesham, Saskatchewan.

After graduating in 1969 from Unity Composite High School, she went to Calgary, Alberta to take a business course.  She met Phillip Hansen in Edmonton in 1972. In the spring of 1973, they moved back to the family farm. On November 30 1973, Phil and Pat were married at the Provost Lutheran Church. Together they raised two children, Jennifer and Curtis, who went onto raise their four grandchildren. Pat went to work off the farm at the Provost Hospital, Provost Motor Inn and later on for FCSS.

 The most important people to Pat was her family. She loved when Jen, Troy, Curtis and Heather would bring the Grandkids for a weekend at the farm. There was always freshly baked buns and cookies in the pantry for everyone to enjoy.

Pat loved tending to her garden & flowers, knitting, spoiling her grandchildren and helping out whenever she could on the farm.

After a short battle with cancer, Pat passed away peacefully at the Provost Health Care Centre on November 8, 2019 at the age of 67 years.

Pat will be remembered and forever missed by her husband, Phillip; her daughter, Jennifer (Troy); and their children, Katelyn and Brandon Miller; her son, Curtis (Heather); and their children, Ella and Eva Hansen. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Germin; one brother, Douglas Wells; and numerous other relatives and friends.
