Obituary of Vernon David Allen Arthur Froland

Vernon David Allen Arthur Froland was born on April 5, 1930 in Metiskow, Alberta to Ingvold and Thea Froland.

Vernon, known to his many family and friends as Pete, passed away on November 24, 2019 at the Provost Health Centre – Long Term Care at the age of 89 years.

Pete will be forever loved and missed by his children, Sherry (Kevin) Laing, Sandra (Joe) Poulin, Sheila (Ron) Raher, Peter (Elizabeth) Froland and Russel Froland; grandchildren, John, Heidi (Dwain), Sierra (Brennen), Cody (Kara), Lanny (Nicole), Andrew (Jacy), Shelby (Marcel), Samara (Logan), Devon (Jacqueline) and Heather (Devin); great grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, Nathaniel, Kaidenze, Kaisen, Marlee, Jaxin, Ava, Claira, Isaac, Thomas, Forrest, Sarah and Gwen; special friend, Gloria Nelson; sister in law, Joan Froland; and special cousin, Carole Melin; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Pete was predeceased by his wife, Sally; brothers and sisters, Pearl, Selma (George), Thelma (Don), Clarence, Lester (Elsie), Bernice (Tom), Joan (Ray) and Bud.
