Obituary of Martin William Biro

Martin Biro Sr. was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to parents, Gasper and Jennie. He was raised on the homestead acquired by his dad in 1929, near Mistatim, Saskatchewan. On April 11, 1964, Martin married Eunice Iverson and they began their life together where they raised their four children, Martin Jr., Caroline, Jennifer and Melissa. Martin enjoyed many things in life; farming, heavy equipment but most of all, his family. Sadly, on December 23, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Macklin, Saskatchewan, Martin passed away at the age of 78 years. Martin will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Marty (Michelle) Biro and his children, Amanda (Chad), Randi (Cole), Kelsey (Brad), Josh (Cass) and their mom, Candice; Caroline (Reg) Horvath and their children, Tyler (Haley) and Enrico; Jennifer (James) Dyer and their children, Olivia and Brighton; Melissa Biro; great grandchildren, Bodhi, Becka, Layla, Julia and Ethan; brother, Louis Biro; sister, Agnes (Frank) Kanscal; brother in laws, Stan Tuleta and Eric Purdy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Eunice; granddaughter, Martina; parents, Gasper & Jennie; father and mother in law, Percy and Isabel Iverson; sisters in law, Betty Biro, Fran Lasko, Elaine Purdy, Shirley Lasko, Iris Iverson; brothers in law Peter Lasko, Joe Lasko, Gary Atkinson, and niece Dianne Lasko. A Celebration of Martin’s Life will be held in the spring in Mistatim, Saskatchewan, the place Martin always called home.
