One of the true pioneers of the KAC community. I had the pleasure of working for this man, and found him to be one of the smartest individuals I’ve ever met. He’s forgotten more than most men know. There wasn’t a day went by that I wasn’t bent over in laughter at something he said, his quick wit was unmatched. I can remember my first job with Don doing his summer fallow, and we were having trouble with the tractor powering out ( 1950T Cockshutt tractor ) and Don pulled it over into a grove of trees. We got a tarp and tools and did an engine overhaul right there. That tractor pulled like a D9 Cat when we got it back into the field. I have a lot of memories that bring on a smile from dinners with him and Marion to some of the field trips we took. I treasure them all. To Marion, Karen, Kevin and Richard, me and Marcine and our family would like to express our heart felt condolences.
