Obituary of Shelly Lynn McMann

Shelly was born on June 12, 1956 in Neilburg, Saskatchewan to George & Jean Biensch. Shelly was the second of four children. Her brothers include, Gary, Lyle and Jack. Shelly started school in the Marsden area and went on to complete her schooling in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Shelly married John McMann November 3, 1978 and together they had two children Tara Schaffer (Kenneth) and Brad McMann (Nikki). Shelly was later blessed with two granddaughters, Ryley & Rayna Schaffer. Shelly spent most of her time around the Chuckwagon race track. She loved camping out with all the racers. Shelly was a very active community member. She spent many hours volunteering her time and skills planning and organizing events. Shelly’s motor home was her sanctuary, and was in it every chance she could be. Shelly was even known to take it to the odd garage sale. Shelly will be remembered for her love of family and friends. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the La Pearl Cemetery. To plant a tree in the local cemetery, please contact GFH directly at 780-753-2332.
