Obituary of Jeffrey Wayne Ettinger

Jeffrey W. Ettinger born and raised in Windsor, Nova Scotia to parents, John and Irene Ettinger. Jeff met Janet Swinamer and were married on June 18, 1981. Jeff spent 34 plus years at Fundy Gypsum in Wentworth, NS as well as spending his free time at Swinamer’s Towing Driving and Building Wreckers. Jeff and Janet moved to Provost in 2011 to be closer to their son, Dana. He made many good friends here and enjoyed working for Bozco Enterprises Inc. After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Jeff passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on September 28, 2020 at the age of 64 years. Jeff will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 39 years, Janet; son, Dana (Amanda) Ettinger of Provost, AB; brother, Fred (Sue) Ettinger of Lower Burlington, NS; sister, Marjorie Beckwith of Turo, NS; mother in law, Shirley Swinamer of Windsor, NS; grand daughters, Taylor, Emily and Brooke; great grand children, Bauer, Bentley, Kammy and Hadley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeff was predeceased by his parents, John and Irene Ettinger; father in law, Lesle “King” Swinamer; and brother in law, Terry Swinamer. Jeff was a man of few words as many know but in those few words his family and friends always felt his love and support.
