For love is eternal and those we love will be with us throughout eternity. Our hearts are breaking as we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur Jehu Crocker on November 18th, 2020 in Provost, Alberta. He was know to all as a gentle, witty, mischievous and fun loving man. Born January 22nd 1956 in Heart’s Delight, Newfoundland, He was one of many blessings to his parents Arthur & Harriet Crocker. Art was the 7th born of 11 children and the oldest son. As a quiet unassuming person, Arthur garnered the hearts of all he met. Arthur was an avid dart player, where he became one of the best dart players in Newfoundland winning many championships. He truly enjoyed spending time outside fishing and hunting with many family members and friends. He loved to reminisce in his later years about the wonderful life he lived. He was plagued with COPD, despite that he worked and cared for his extended family who loved him dearly. In 2011, Arthur reconnected with his teenage sweetheart, Beverley. Shortly thereafter he relocated to Macklin, Saskatchewan to rekindle their love. They were married in 2013, and Beverley was blessed to love and care for him until his untimely passing. Arthur leaves to mourn the lady who loved him dearly, Beverley (nee Penney); Son, Stephen (Ashley) and Daughter, Stacey (Ryan); Stepdaughters, Krista and Coleen (Gregory); Grandchildren, Cameron, Dylan, Jamie, Braxton, Sarah, Cole, Anna-Leigh, Ashlyn, and he was proud and excited to be getting a new granddaughter in 2021. Sisters, Phyllis (Jerry), Stella (Ern), Edna (Clayton), Florence (Is), Leona (Denis), Angela (Don) and Mary (Bill); Brothers, Winston (Patsy), Ernie (Georgina) and Gerry (Paula). Plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart I’ll stay there forever.” When the timing allows, a celebration of Arthur’s life will be held for his many family and friends to be able to reflect in his honour and memory.
