Dear Maureen, Marilyn, Chris (and spouses , and to all your siblings, Sieben and Rolheiser families...and anyone touched by Leona.) Such a difficult thing saying goodbye to such a pillar of the family! You are all in our thoughts and prayers. I had hoped to join in the live feed, but my noisy Grandkids had other ideas. I'm sure it was a beautiful, prayerful celebration of a wonderful lady. God give you all the strength needed to carry on her legacy of faith and love! Thinking of you (big hugs!) My condolences go out to the Sieben family. Your mom holds a special place in my heart. Moving to Salvador I was welcomed into your family as Audrey’s friend and then became a frequent visitor and friend of Leona’s. She went on to babysit my daughter and takeover the Post Office when we relocated. What a grand lady she was and will be missed by many. My prayers are with you at this sad time. Charlene Smith

Leona will always have a special place in my heart. She was a genuinely kind woman, with a heart of gold. One of my favorite memories of growing up in Salvador was going over to the Sieben house and eating rhubarb dipped in sugar from Leona's massive garden. I always admired Leona's desire to remain in the house in Salvador! It warms my heart to know that she was able to go back to her "happy place" in the last days of her life. Rick, Marilyn, Maureen, Chris and Darren.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mother was one of a kind and will be missed dearly. May she Rest In Peace . Hugs to you all.
