Obituary of Nathan Schalo Braunberger

Nathan was born in Edmonton, Alberta on July 1, 1974. The son of proud parents, Bill and Cathy Braunberger. Nathan was the older of he and his sister, Erin. Nathan grew up in Drumheller, surrounded by close friends and family, and every Canada Day celebrated his birthday with a parade, fireworks and the love his parents, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. In June 2002, Nathan married his love, Crystal Sonmor in Provost, Alberta and together they have three beautiful children, Brady, Chloe and Reid. Nathan passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46 on January 27, 2021 in Provost, Alberta. He leaves to mourn his wife, Crystal and their children, Brady, Chloe and Reid; parents, Bill and Cathy; sister, Erin (Cory) and their children, Matthew and Morgan. Nathan had many special aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who will remember him as a tenacious soul, with a desire to make all the small moments matter. Nathan's life long passion was motocross. He competed for many years and later introduced his kids to the sport while continuing to ride noncompetitively and cheer on his favourites. Nathan was predeceased by his grandpa, Jake Braunberger and Nan, Cathy Yemen. Nathan will be greatly missed by all those who knew his gentle heart. Rest easy Nathan. A Funeral Service will be held for Nathan on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. (AB Time). Due to the limitations of gatherings, the service will be livestreamed for all family and friends to attend virtually. This will be accessible through Facebook and YouTube 15 minutes prior to the service beginning.
