Obituary of Louise Elizabeth Stang
Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Elizabeth Stang at the age of 81 years old. She was a strong lady battling cancer all her life. She had a heart of gold.
Louise was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, child to John and Katherine Knorr.
On July 28, 1958, she married the love of her life Roman Joseph Stang and together they raised Garnet, Vernon, Janet, Diana and Wanda. Farming was Louise and Romans life. They worked hard and put in many long hours. Louise was always getting the meals ready to take out to the fields. When they were not on the farm they were out traveling and camping. Louise loved her sports. Fishing, curling, bowling and playing cards at the drop-in center with her friends. She loved to go watch Kyle and Justin play hockey.
She loved her flowers and spending lots of time in her yard. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Miranda always looked forward to her weekend with grandma just as much as Louise enjoyed having her come and stay. They spent many hours playing cards, coloring, playing board games, gardening and even house chores together. Louise always made sure to have an extra bed as her great grandkids also enjoyed staying with her.
She is lovingly remembered by her family, Son, Garnet (Valerie) Stang, their children, Kyle and Justin; Son, Vernon (Shauna) Stang; Daughter, Janet (Butch) Lyman, their children, Cassie (Travis) and their children, Kaydan and Keenan; Miranda Worthing and her children, Bailey, Cooper and Hudson; Daughter, Diana Stang, and her daughter, Silest (Jitesh) Joshi and their children, Sarah, Adam, Krishna, Aishwarya and Arjun; Daughter, Wanda (Mike) Benton.
