Obituary of Mildred Margaret Heinrich

Please share a memory of Mildred to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mildred Margaret Heinrich was born on November 9, 1944 to Robert and Lena Meier of Kirriemuir, Alberta. Millie grew up in Kirriemuir to a large, loving family. She completed her schooling in Provost and then moved back to Kirriemuir after marrying Ron. Together, they raised their three children and worked hard building a successful life for their family. After Ron passed away, Millie continued to cherish quality time with her family and friends. Her seven grandchildren have always had a special place in her heart, and she has been a positive role model to them as well with her kindness, patience, generosity, and unconditional love. After moving to Provost, Millie continued to show her hospitality by always welcoming family and friends to her home. She enjoyed fun gatherings that included good food, plenty of refreshments, and lots of laughs. Millie often said, “We’re here for a good time, not a long time.” We will all miss her special qualities and will treasure our fond memories together. Millie had a remarkable personality and a warm smile that lit up the room when she walked in. One of the most important lessons she taught us was that all you need in life is family, food, and a roof over your head. Millie also reminded us that life is precious, and we only have one roll of the dice, so live your life to the fullest. With her loving family by her side, Millie passed away on April 7, 2021 at Provost, Alberta at the age of 76 years. Millie will be forever missed and dearly loved by her three children, Jackie Reiter, Marty (Jessica) Heinrich and Tim (Kelly) Heinrich; grandchildren, Damien, Cody, Taylor, Jayden, Mitchell, Jake and Noah; sister, Mary (George ⴕ) Doneff; sisters in-law, Adeline Meier and Marie Meier; and brother in- law, Jack Miller; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Ron; brothers, Melvin, Harry (Esther), Walter (Marlene), Robert, Frank (Theresa); sisters, Martha, Alma (Alfred), Jennie (Tony), Mabel, and Irene (John). Rest in Peace, Until we meet again. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at the Kirriemuir Cemetery.
