Obituary of Kenneth Fisher
Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kenneth "Ken" Fisher was born January 15, 1958 to parents Phillip and Agnes Fisher at Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. He passed away, surrounded by his family, at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton on November 7, 2012 at the age of 54 years.
He grew up a farm boy near Denzil, Saskatchewan, before leaving home to try his hand in the oil patch, then ultimately finding his calling as a B pressure welder based out of Leduc, Alberta. Ken worked hard and played hard. Not a care in the world, yet one of the world's most caring, Ken would gladly give you the shirt — or the leather vest — off his back.
Ken will be remembered for his free spirit, caring nature and love for life.
Ken will be dearly missed by his daughters; Anna-Marie (Michael) Rogers and Christina Fisher. His memory will be treasured by his grandchildren; Nathan, Tyler, Ryan and Kayden. Ken's memory will be cherished by his stepmom, Clementine as well as by his 6 siblings: John (Pam) Wack, Lawrence (Roxanne) Fisher, James (Debbie) Fisher, Denise (Tim) Schroh-Fisher, Shelley (Mel) Witzaney and Sherry (Don) Fisher. His memory will be further cherished by fifteen nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many dear friends.
Ken is predeceased by his mother, Agnes; father, Phillip; grandson, Sheldon; and sister, Rosemarie.
