Sandy was always willing to accept any challenge. I remember one time we were all sitting around the fire at our home in Bellevue. Someone dared Sandy to eat a large black snail that was on the ground which he did. No matter how much beer he drank after that he still could not get the slime of his teeth. It was quite the show.
