Obituary of Vivian Doris Irene Simpson

Vivian Doris Irene was born on May 9, 1920 in the Black Hill District on the family farm. The tenth of fourteen children born to Ernest & Clara (nee Weaver) Johnson, Vivian grew up surrounded by hard work, hard ships and most importantly the sanctity of family and love. On November 24, 2012 Vivian passed away peacefully at the Coronation Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 92 years. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Lois Bailey of Consort; Lynn Sayre of Calgary; Tim (Joy) McNalley of Provost; Rhia (Joe) Balz of Uxbridge, Ontario; grandchildren, Jay, Nova, Robb, Kelly (Todd), Tracy, Mark, Jason, Carrie, Amanda (Eldon), Jason, Clinton (Leah), Jennifer, Rayna (Neil) and Jess; sister, Ede Hargraves; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Vivian was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; three brothers and nine sisters.
