Dear Wenona, Paul, Gerry and family: I was saddened to hear of Irene's passing. I remember her very fondly from years serving together on the Synod Church and Society Committee back in the early 1990s and later with Synod Council. It was an absolute pleasure to work with such a delightful woman of God whose servant heart shone through all she did. I felt a real bond with Irene and was inspired by the joy, vitality, kindness and deep faith she demonstrated. How thankful we are for the resurrection of Jesus that gives you comfort, hope and peace through this difficult season of grief and will sustain you always. Dennis Aicken Leduc, AB.

To the Motta family we send our heart felt condolences. Irene was a very special lady. We look back with fond memories of sharing Sunday service with your family. She was always so friendly and kind. Her love for the Lord and the earthly family she was blessed with was so obvious. We shared many stories from our years living in Hanna and enjoyed her gift of hospitality more than once.
