Obituary of Terry Christian Phillips
Please share a memory of Terry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Terry Christian Phillips was born February 26, 1957, in Calgary, Alberta to Shirley and Wes. He was the eldest of three children that grew up and attended school in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.
Terry married the love of his life, Brenda Westman, on April 28, 1979. They were blessed with four children, eleven grandchildren and he was excited to meet his first great grandchild. Terry loved his family and friends more than anything in this world. His second love was his dogs, flying airplanes, fishing, hunting, camping, and slow pitch. He could be found sitting in his chair on his days off watching The Blue Jays, Calgary Flames or the Riders… lose. He supported and volunteered for many community organizations and was also proud to serve his community as an Auxiliary RCMP Officer.
In 1981 the oil patch drew Terry to Alberta with Trican Oilwell Services. This job began a career in the oil patch which spanned 40 years and created many lifelong relationships and friends. In 1999, Terry started his company, Polar Consulting Ltd. He dedicated his time to operating this business until his unexpected hospitalization.
Terry passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 16, 2022, at RUH in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 65 years.
