Obituary of Gerald James Reichert

Gerald James Reichert, resident of the Wainwright Long Term Care Facility in Wainwright, Alberta, passed away in the early hours of Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 61 years.

 

Gerald was born November 4, 1960 in Fairview, Alberta to parents, Joseph & Mary Reichert.

 

He is survived by his parents, Joe & Mary of Red Deer, Alberta; sister, Denise of Provost, Alberta; brothers, Henry of Okotoks, Alberta; Daniel of Brampton, Ontario; Lawrence of Calgary, Alberta; five nieces, one nephew, two grand nieces and two grand nephews. 

 

Gerald was predeceased by his sister, Cindy of Provost, Alberta in 2012.

 

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

God of love and life, you gave Gerald to us as our son and brother;

Give us now the assurance that though he has passed from our sight, he has not passed from your care.

Draw near to us in our sadness, bring blessing out of grief, and help us in our tears and pain to know you are standing alongside us and to experience your love and healing; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
