To all the family: Violet was a lot like our mom. Quiet but strong, always helping out even though they were both busy raising big families of their own, loved her children and Jesus Christ as Savior. Violet always attended any occasion we had for mom or dad and we really appreciated that. It meant a lot. Of course we will always think of her at the lake and the fun our families had together when we were young. Our condolences - especially to Richard and Judy, losing your moms so close together. Take care and God Bless.

Our sincere condolences to all of VI’s family. We have wonderful memories of our time as neighbors in Mesa Regal in Arizona. We also enjoyed our visits in their home and the cabin at the lake. Genuine hospitality at it’s best. We have and cherish several of VI’s paintings in our home. May your faith and fond memories give you strength at this sad time. Sincerely, Martin & Paulette Malach

My husband Wally and I were “snowbird” neighbors of Clarence and Vi in Mesa Regal RV Park in AZ for many years and treasured their friendship. It was through VI’s contact with a relative in Norway that I was able to learn the location of Wally’s great-grandfather’s farm so I could visit it when I made a memorial journey there after his death. We also had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Clarence and Vi at their lake cabin. Such good memories. VI’s loving presence will never leave the hearts and memories of her family. My heart aches for their loss.
