Obituary of Ursula Catherine Schonheiter

Ursula Catherine Schonheiter, of Macklin, Saskatchewan, passed away on January 6, 2023, with her daughters by her side. She was 83 years old.

Ursula was born to John & Margaret Hagel in 1939 and married John Schonheiter in 1959. With this union came three children, Deborah, Brenda, and Carmelita.

Ursula lived the majority of her life in Macklin and worked in the Macklin Drugstore for 25 years. She was very talented and creative. She could sew, crochet, needle point, knit, do ceramics, and cut hair. Anything she put her hand too, would be done to perfection.

Ursula was competitive. She loved playing cards, curling, and baseball; but most of all, she loved her family.

She leaves to mourn her daughters, Deborah, Brenda, and Carmelita (Shane); sister, Linda (Frances), 8 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Ursula was predeceased by her husband, John; grandson, Josh Vollman; son in law, Gerald Leibel; brothers, Jake and Ed; sisters, Martha, Marie, and Katherine; brother-in-law, Peter Schonheiter.

Memorial donations in Ursula’s memory are gratefully accepted to the Villa Marie – Macklin.

A private family interment will take place at the Lakeview Cemetery in Macklin, Saskatchewan.
