Obituary of Jerry Raymond Schenk

Jerry Raymond Schenk “J.R” was born on October 29, 1949 in Provost, Alberta to Edith and Raymond Schenk. He was the oldest of the family of 4.

Jerry had two children, Rodney Raymond born on August 27, 1971 and Shauna Marjorie born on March 2, 1975.

On March 17, 2023, with his children by his side, Jerry passed away at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 73 years after a short battle with esophageal cancer.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Rodney (Tanya); their children, Meaghan, Kassidy (Craig), Colton, Morgan and Kash; daughter, Shauna (Mark) Hochhausen; their children, Logan (Nicole) and Raelynn (Garett); brother, Larry; sister, Jenny and brother-in-law, Doug Bullock; as well as many relatives and close friends.

Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Edith and sister, Wendy Bullock.

An Afternoon of Memories, fellowship and refreshments will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cadogan Hall.

In true Jerry fashion, friends and family are welcome to bring a beverage of their choice to enjoy while sharing memories of Jerry.
