Rita, my dearest cousin.
It is with a heavy heart we have to say “goodbye” but it is with the fondest of memories that we will remember you always. ❤️
You were a kind, caring and determined women with a wicked sense of humor and a lover of practical jokes. A wonderful human being filled with a zest for life, love and an unselfish need to care for everyone, earning you the love and respect from you family & friends far & near. You loved your rural roots.
A seasoned “rook” player with a mind set to win even if it meant a little cheating with the wink of an eye!! Your sense of humor and teasing, with each deal did not go unnoticed. Your Bingo’s - I can still hear you say quote “come on caller - make me holler” and produce that infectious smile!
Hooking up with you & Joe once in Laughlin you instructed us what hotel and what machine you would be playing at and at what time - your tip to finding you was “look for the white haired lady”……….well the casino was a sea of “cotton tops”!
Your cooking skills were bar none the best. Your bread I will always taste with a smile on my face. The fun time & laughter we had in Yuma Arizona making sausage -with a gaggle of curious folks wondering what we were making.
To your family I say, ….Rita, was a magnificent wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, aunt, friend & care giver. They say our parents give us life, and from our grandparents, we learn where we come from, we learn our history, we learn who we are. You have left you rich legacy with all your family.
You graced our history. And for those of us who knew and loved you - you graced our lives. You will live forever in our hearts and in our minds.
Rest In Peace Rita
Cousin Allan & Renate
