Obituary of David Frank Lyle Cameron

David Frank Lyle Cameron was born on July 21, 1945 at Provost, Alberta. He was the second son born to Rae and Janet Cameron.

He grew up on the Roworth and Cameron Ranch with his brother, Jim and cousins, Jack and Irene Roworth. Later becoming a partner in the Ranch with his brother and cousins, Jack and Lee Roworth.

Dave attended Czar Elementary School, Hughenden Central High School and Olds College.

He lived and worked his entire life on the Ranch, spending many hours in the saddle tending to cows and baby calves. Later years were spent in a pickup truck cruising around the countryside checking on bulls and the condition of fences.

Dave passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

He is survived by his brother, Jim (Carole); niece, Tracie Cameron & her family; nephew, Tyler Cameron & his family; great nephew, Mitchell Cameron; and great niece, Raena Cameron. He will be missed by all the Roworth Families and many other relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Dave was predeceased by his parents, Rae and Janet; and nephew, Todd Cameron.

An Afternoon of Memories will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Czar Rec. & Culture Centre in Czar, Alberta. All family & friends are invited to join to share stories about Dave and visit together.
