Obituary of Stanley Joseph Hollman

Stanley Joseph Hollman was born on August 5, 1939 near Reward, SK.  He passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 in Kindersley, SK at the age 83.

Stanley was the oldest of five children born to Joseph and Eleanor Hollman. 

Stanley started farming the moment he was old enough to help his father and he continued to farm the same land until the day his own sons took over the farm.

Stanley married Cecilia Dieser on April 5, 1961.  Together they raised nine children on their farm in the Cosine district south of Macklin.  Stanley enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and bunnock with his family.  He loved nothing better than travelling to visit his children and grandchildren, in particular for their birthdays.

Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Cecilia; children, Marilyn Rinas (Grant Nielsen), Pat (Nancy), Joanne, Gerard (Melody), Elaine Townsley (Diehl), Beatrice Kuneff (George), Karen Geiger (Shawn), Bernice Komarnisky (Mike), and Ken; grandchildren, Jeremy Rinas (Amanda), Kyle Rinas (Marisa), Matthew Hollman, Emily Hollman, Brendan Hollman (Brett Bignell), Jared Hollman, Rochelle Kroetsch (Brady), Rebecca Townsely (Steve Shaul), Alysen Townsley (Mike Tsai), Veronica Townsley, Kimberly Schoorlemmer (Ryan), Gina Ranestad (Erick), Andrea Geiger, Camron Geiger (Channia Alexander), Kathleen Komarnisky, and Hannah Komarnisky; great-grandchildren, Bryelle Rinas, Benjamin Rinas, and Luke Rinas; brother, Gerald (Joanne); sister, Marianne Hall (Allen); as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Eleanor Hollman; his bother, Kenneth; his sister, Loretta Blatz; his son-in-law, Wayne Rinas; his in-laws, Henry Dieser, Katherine Dieser, Joseph Dieser, Paul Dieser, and Anita Dieser; infant son, Joseph; and infant grandchildren, George and Katherine Hollman.
