Our deepest condolences to all of Caroline's family. Caroline was a very special lady to Bob & I. We couldn't attend her celebration of life but watched it online.
It was a lovely tribute to her and her legacy. We got to know Caroline when we managed the bowling center.
She was the president of club 55 and did a great job.
Over the years she would book the bowling center for her family Christmas parties. We enjoyed them so much! It was our pleasure to meet all of her family! There were always trophies given to the top male and female bowlers. I remember she won one year and she didn't want to accept it but we told her she deserved it! Caroline was a very good bowler.
God Bless all of her family.
Love Bob & Joy

What a wonderful message! Mom loved bowling and absolutely loved the Christmas bowling tournies we had when you were managing the bowling alley. I forgot she was President as well! That activity gave her much joy. Thank you for being such a big part of her life and ours too.

To all of the Doetzel kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Your mom holds a special place in my heart. I think she's the reason I am a writer. I suspect the dozen geraniums that overwinter in my kitchen are also a tribute to the geraniums she overwintered in her Grade 4 classroom! I loved seeing her in Provost over the years, usually at mass. I was in Provost last week and my mom told me how much she and dad appreciated your mom's help at Catholic funerals. I suspect she touched many more lives than you will ever know. I have friends here in Calgary who took classes with your mom in Edmonton. It is a small and beautiful world. I am grateful that your mom was part of it!

Shirlianne, Marilyn, Colleen, Randy and especially Jim: your mum was a part of my life from grade school (Gr. 4) to the present day. Caroline was part of the reason I entered the teaching profession and I loved teaching with her as well as being her neighbour across the alleyway. Her love and faith shone brightly and embraced so many people. She was passionate, an attribute I admired deeply and an anchor in our parish. I have missed your mum since our move to Lacombe. Sending our love and prayers in your grief. Easy will she rest in God's hands and long will her legacy linger. Elaine & Reuben

It was with great sadness and the deepest joy that I received the message from Colleen that your dear mother ‘went home’ to her loving Creator in the early hours of Easter Monday morning. Her own time of Resurrection had arrived! My thoughts immediately were with each of you and your families. Though I am sure you are grateful that her suffering is over, I know that along with your gratitude is the deep sadness and pain of saying farewell to a most remarkable and dear woman with a heart as big as the world. I will also miss this very dear sister-in-law whom I so admired and loved from the very day Ben brought her home to meet our family. I am so sorry that I cannot be with you in person during these precious days of ‘farewell’. Please know that my love, prayers, and deep care are present with you and your families. Holding you all in my heart.
Your Auntie, Sister Audrey, n.d.s
