Obituary of Porter Gray Thompson

It breaks our hearts to share on behalf of the Stang and Thompson families the unexpected passing of Porter Gray Thompson.

Porter lived a life full of adventure and wonder, leaving behind memories of infinite love and joy.

Porter’s boundless curiosity and unyielding spirit led him on countless spirited adventures, whether it was exploring the great outdoors, climbing trees, or discovering new paths. Porter's love for animals was evident to all who knew him; he had a special way with creatures big and small, and his inquisitive nature led him to connect with every animal he met.

His beautiful kind eyes and unique giggle will be forever missed by family and friends.

He will be forever remembered by his mother, Jennifer (Terry); brother, River; grandparents, George and Cathy Stang; aunt, Sarah; uncle, Matthew (Krista) and their child, Max; uncle, Daniel (Haley) and their children, Luke (Dani) with their children, Jayla, Jaidyn, Jorgia and Ryatt; Kylen (Kodi) and their child, Fynn; Kalayna and Braylin; aunt, Sandra (Mike) and their children, Paris (Justin) and Bronson; uncle, Bruce (Colleen) and their children, Ashley, Torie (Travis), with their child, Peyton; Abbey (Jake) and Noah; uncle, Darin and his sons, Jeremy and Matt; aunt, Cathy (Danny) and their children, Jordyn (Rahim) and their child, Luca; Mackenzi (Jared) and Hunter (Jayda); uncle, Andrew (Marilou) and children, Kyle and Caleb; aunt, Agnes (Darcy) with their children, Thomas,  Scott (Eleanor) with their child, Juniper; Rebecka (Colin); uncle, Frank (Karen) and their children, Wyatt and his daughter, Blake; Barrett (Bree) and their children, Drew and Sawyer; Stefani (Thomas).

Porter leaves to mourn his father, Bradley; grandmother, Cindy; aunt, Terri (Dean); uncle, Ryan (Candyce); cousins, Justin, Lexi and Ava; aunt, Danielle; aunt and uncle, Valerie and Larry and their daughter, Meagan.

Porter was predeceased by his grandfather, Gary; cousin, Mitchel and aunt, Rosemarie.

Safe travels, Porter.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Macklin, Saskatchewan with Pastor Fred Sirett officiating.

In memory of Porter, a Trust Fund for his brother, River has been set up at the Unity Credit Union.
