Another year has gone by since last we dropped you a line. A year of grief, change and questions. Our thoughts have gone your way many times and trust the Lord has been your constant companion on this difficult journey.
Gordon recalls taking a John Deere 80 down to Harold so that he could set the governor for him. Harold did so and also gave it an excellent paint job. The 80 is still there in the shed and it's always a good reminder of Harold's great workmanship.
If we ever get down to Provost, we'll try to get together for a coffee. We trust you and yours will know the continuing comfort and presence of Him, whose coming we celebrate at this special Season.
What great hope we have because HE came.
Sincerely
Gordon & Jean

Andrew had a stroke several years ago and when he returned to the farm he was not able to recall how things worked meaning his little Deutz tractor and as it was time for me to plant the potatoes, I had asked him to go bring the Deutz over to work the garden. Well he went and hooked a chain around the roto tiller and dragged it over to the yard and asked me to come out and hook it up. Well as I had no clue I phoned Harold and he came with his son and they proceeded to hook it up. Now I said to hAROLD WHAT NOW SHOULD WE LET HIM DRIVE IT IF HE COULD NOT HOOK IT UP. Harold said lets put him on and see what happens? So Andrew got on the tractor and just went ahead and roto tilled the garden, so Harold had more faith in Andrew's abilities than I did, but that is just the way Harold was. He was indeed a good hiehbour. Miss You Harold.

Beryl and Family: We were so sorry to learn of Harold's passing! I just happened to open the Calgary Herald today and read about Oscar Paulgaard's passing. As I completed reading, I thought I would go into the Gregory Funeral Home's website and have a look. I was shocked when I saw the great picture of Harold front and centre. Please accept our condolences at this time. We have great memories of the times we visited with you in your home and you with us in our home. Singing was always an important part of that. We will be getting some Gideon Bibles in memory of him. I will be talking with you later as well, Beryl. Shirley Teeling

Dear Sharon, I was saddened to flip on the Gregorys site today and see your dad's smiling face. I only met him once many years ago, but I remember the smile. Sorry for your loss, but looks like he was a man of faith so we can be assured he is in Gods care. Take care of yourselves, enjoy the memories as you continue to celebrate his life. Take care,Mary

Dear Beryl and family, It is with great sadness we hear of Harold's passing. His great family and life values were immeasurable, helping people was always his mission. We remember, one such example, when he hauled a family member vehicle home in the middle of the night to have them home for thanksgiving. He will be greatly missed, but his reward in heaven is very fitting.

When I read the news of Uncle Harold's passing on Sunday via Sharon, I couldn't help but burst into tears. Harold and Beryl were always a part of the lives of the Joan Brouwer family. When we lost our father, Uncle Harold became a surrogate father to us. I have soooooo many memories of him, many of them very simple, but very precious and significant in other ways. I am comforted, as I know the family is, that he is safely home in Heaven, reuniting with our parents, his father, and many more dear friends. I love the picture on this site of Harold, as that is exactly how I remember him. Hark, the HAROLD angel sings!! Sending our love!

Dear Beryl and family. We were so sorry to hear of your sudden loss of Harold. He was so kind to us and helped in any way he could when Andrew needed his help. He came busy or not and want you all to know that he was such a generous person with his time to everyone. He was so pleased when he got his drivers license again and we were happy for him. He will be missed.

Dear Beryl and family, I was so shocked to hear the news from Corrine today that Harold passed away on Christmas morning. I am so sorry, and extend my deepest sympathies to you all. I am in tears as I write this, but I know Harold is with God, whom he loves so much, and who he has worked for so diligently throughout his life. Please forgive me for not being able to attend his service due to my health issues - but know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Harold was such a gentle man, and very kind to me; I will miss him very much.

Our thoughts & prayers are with you and the rest of the family at this time. Christmas Day will never be the same again but because of our faith in the One who came that first Christmas so long ago we know that HOPE IN HIM will help see you through this difficult time. We're in Arizona at the present time so won't be able to attend Harold's home-going service. Just know that we're thinking of you and are thankful for the many times over the years past that we've all enjoyed times of fellowship. A donation to the Gideons will be made in Harold's memory.
