Dearest Auntie Marie and family and all Leibel family members. I know this must be very difficult for you all despite Uncle Ted's noble and valiant journey in the past few years. You have all been incredibly strong and courageous at his side, bearing witness to his humility and grace. I will forever remember Uncle Ted's very big heart at welcoming us into his extended family, indeed welcoming everyone into his world in Denzil. I always admired his gracious smile, humble heart and the perpetual twinkle in his eye. I pray you have a lovely celebration together in the coming days, taking strength in knowing you are all in this together. Dear Auntie Marie and Family: We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ted was a very memorable person. His booming laugh, big smile and teasing demeanor reflected his engaging personality and sense of fun. In our house, Uncle Ted will always be remembered for his kindness to our boys and his down to earth response to 3 city kids exploring the farm. For years after our visit, our then young children, played "Uncle Ted's dead cow" using their toy tractor or front-end loader to carry their plastic cow to the trees to feed the make-believe coyotes. He may not have remembered the incident, but that visit and his kindness has been marked as an important part of our family's history of fun and adventure. He will be remembered fondly. We are very sorry to hear of Ted's passing. Our thoughts and sympathies go to Marie and the family as well as the rest of the extended family for their loss. My Mother " Edith's" condition is beyond comprehending the loss but had she still been able to understand, We know she also would be deeply saddened.
