Marj Boxer posted a condolence
Our deepest sympathy for Betty, Gordan, Charlotte, Harold and their spouses, children and grandchildren. I wish we could have been their to share your sorrow but also to share a lot of memories of life on the farm, spending many a Sunday together as neighbors, ball games, our experiences riding the bus and many sleep overs. Your Dad was a great man and will be missed. May you loving memories of him get you through you time of sorrow. I would have loved to see everyone and meet all your children and grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love: Marj (Bichel) and Joe Boxer and Family

My sincere condolences to Betty, Gordon, Charlotte, Harold and all their children and grand children. I grew up next door to the Bichels. We were all cousins and i remember having a lot of fun with you. It was just a short walk from our farm to your farm. Willy will be missed. I must say your family started out as only 3 but it has grown. Family is great and you have a great family. Love to you all. Julie (Bichel) and Al McBride

Our sincerest condolences Aunt Betty and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. One of my favorites quotes is from Emily Dickinson, "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality". Wishing you many loving memories to hold in your heart.

My condolences to Auntie Betty, Gordon, Charlotte & Bruce, Harold & Rose, and everyone in the family. It’s been so long since I’ve seen most of you. I remember most the fun we had, as kids, visiting great uncle and auntie, whether it was at the farm or in the new big house in town.

Our families deepest sympathies to Betty and all the family and friends of Willie Bichel. Even though we had not had him at our facility for long he will be remembered for his sense of humour and concern about his love Betty. As I work the night shift he would wake up and ask” where’s Betty?” I would tell him the time and that she was sleeping. I would take care of him during the night. He would be ok with that as long as I looked in on Betty too. Which of course I told him I would do. Because of his hearing issues you would think he would miss out on the conversations. But he would always try and we came up with hand signals as the ever helpful white board. He was so proud of the farm his kids grandkids and even though sometimes it was hard for him to breath he tried to do what he could. When he first came in with the scooter, we said we could go as fast as the scooter could. He replied” you want to race? “ with a twinkle in his eyes. It was an honour and a privilege to have taken care of Willie and helped the family as much as I could do. Rest easy in the arms of angels as they bring you to the face of God.
