Obituary of Doug Stang

Please share a memory of Doug to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Douglas Joseph Stang was born on November 2, 1958 in Macklin, SK to William and Eleanor (nee Brost) Stang. He passed away suddenly on November 6, 2010 at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Macklin, SK at the age of 52 years. Doug was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend. Doug's passion was spending time with his family. Whether it be at home, on the golf course, at the rink, hunting or just a simple backyard BBQ - as long as he was with those he loved the most. Doug tried to hide his affection but everyone could see through to his heart of gold. His help could always be counted on by everyone in "whatever" it was. As many of you know, nicknames were given to many and treasured by all who had the honor to have one. Doug will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 27 years, Pat; daughter, Danielle; sons, Ashton and Brody; father, Bill; as well as all of his extended family, friends, and co-workers. Doug was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor; brother, Brian; and his brother in law, Joe. "For as long as he lives on in our hearts, he will not be forgotten"
