To the family of Mary. My deepest sympathies to you all on the loss of Mary. She was a true treasure. I remember seeing her at the grocery store when we first moved here and she was so welcoming so myself and my family. I remember her coming to the rememberance day ceremonies and how she told my daughter how well she did carrying the flag. I got to take care of her in the last few months at st Joes. She had become frail and confused. However every morning she would look up and say “ there’s my happy little plant” and smile. She had the most beautiful smile and was a treasure. Best the last days she liked to listen to her music and during the night we would take turns holding her hands. I felt privileged to care for Mary. May you be dancing with your husband and waltz around Heaven. God bless.

My sincere condolences to the Colson family. I first met Mrs. Colson while camping at Dillberry Lake. Mom and Mary quickly became friends and my brother and I became friends with Barry and Marlene. I have fond memories of those summer days. May the peace of God comfort you during this time.

Barry, Doris and girls: What can someone say about your Mom. She was the best neighbor, gardener, sweetpea grower, tea maker, sometimes babysitter to our boys. I will always remember and treasure all the beautiful times we were able to share with her. I will miss her annual Christmas card/letter that were handwritten of all the past year's local news. I will miss my yearly phone call to her to wish her a Happy Birthday every Jan 14, Mrs Colson I hope you can take calls in heaven because I am going to remember ever Jan 14 that I need to think of my special kind hearted lady I ever had the honor of calling my friend.
