Obituary of Elbert Cooper
Please share a memory of Elbert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elbert was born on August 26, 1928 on the family farm in the Long Lake District near Senlac, Saskatchewan to parents, Stephen and Eva Cooper.
He spent his life around farming and family. Elbert’s love for horses, cattle and the wide open spaces on his farm were his genuine passion. Elbert was a man of simple means, embracing honestly, integrity and good old fashioned hard work.
The last few years were devoted to his wife ensuring her needs were met to the best of his ability.
Elbert’s final hours were spent with the care and support of his three loving children. He passed away on October 3, 2019 at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre at the age of 91 years. Even though his passing was sudden but peaceful, we know that he walks in heaven with the love of his life, Anna.
