Obituary of Ruth Inge Stempfle

Ruth Inge Stempfle was born in Berlin, Germany on March 25, 1934 to Kurt & Dora Werner. In 1953, Ruth immigrated to Canada where she originally worked for a short while in Edmonton before receiving a job at the Provost Hospital. Ruth eventually married Carl Stempfle and together they had five children. Ruth was a gentle soul with a genuine love for her family, friends and community. She dedicated her life to these very people she held so close. Her zest for life and strong faith touched the lives of so many. On September 28, 2012, Ruth passed away peacefully at the Provost Health Centre. Ruth will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Brian (Donna), Alvin (Laurie), Paul (Brenda), Michael (Pat) and Lori (Larry); grandchildren, Sheldon (Melissa) & their children, Taryn, Keaton & Kiera; Leslie; Cameron (Sarah) & their daughter, Hunter; Janelle (Ross) & their children, Shae & Alisen; Ryan (Leah); John; Brent; Kurt; Chad; Megan; Krista; brother in law, Frank; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Carl; one brother and one sister.
