Mom and dad (Joe and Ann Lang) don't have any technology so on their behalf I write to express their condolences to the family. The Vogel farm was always one of our favorite places to visit. Dad often commented that Uncle John was so easy going but ran everywhere to get his work done. He had endless energy and endless patience. I remember trips in the car to Compeer. I always thought that Compeer must be so far away as it always took so long to get there. Later I realized that Uncle John was just driving at a crawl. He always had a quick smile and quicker witt. He will be missed but celebrated as a wonderful Brother-in-law and Uncle. What a wonderful role model for all those in his life. Rest in peace John. Joe and Ann Wes and Gayleen

Awe that smile and twinkle in his eye, I'll remember you and your kind heart forever! John, Pauline and I spent alot of time together at Hillcrest. Horse races were one of our favorite! Also, dances at the Lodge were so much more fun with John playing and Pauline looking and admiring what a wonderful man John was. I'll love you forever and now we let you spend forever with your beloved Pauline! Thank you to your wonderful family for the personal invite to celebrate your wonderful life well lived! You absolutely cherished your entire family! My deepest condolences to the Vogel family! ❤
