Dear Doug, Gail, Elaine, Joan, Aaron, Richard and David,
I was so very very sorry to hear of Lori’s ‘s death. She was my oldest and dearest friend. We met in Olds in 1965 when my family moved across the street from hers and we immediately became best friends. We spent many hours gesturing to each other through our big picture windows and I have very fond memories of helping her look after Joany. Our lives took different paths but we always kept in touch by phone or I would visit her when I was in the area or she would come to Calgary. Every time we reconnected it was just like no time had passed at all and we would be those little girls sitting on the front step talking and laughing about anything and everything. Those memories will be in my heart forever. Again my sincere condolences to you all.

Hi David, Richard, and Aaron,
So sorry to hear about your mom passing. I would have liked to attend her service, but that morning didn't work for me.
Lori was a good family person, a great worker and a friend. We hadn't been in touch much since our joint Salers bull sales, but I would see or hear of her periodically. May good memories help in this difficult time.

I met Lori through a mutual friend Joanne Notley. I had moved to Olds in 2008 and was very happy to golf with Lori and Joanne. I also knew her at the curling rink where she shone as a curler. She was always welcoming and kind. I am very happy to have met and known her and was saddened to hear of her illness and passing. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I have fond memories of growing up down the street from the Malmo family in Olds. Lori was my favourite babysitter and my friend Joan’s very special big sister. Forty years later we met again as she was selflessly nurturing Roy and Doris in their golden years. Such a lovely tribute to a beautiful soul ❤️ Heaven has truly gained an angel.❤️ My deepest sympathies to the Malmo and Grant families Rhonda (Watkins)O’Rourke
