Obituary of Aletha May Maull

Aletha May Maull was born June 10, 1936 in Viking, Alberta to her parents, Hilson and Iva Hodgins. She was the eldest of three children.

Aletha married Ralph Maull on July 16, 1955. They made their home North East of Metiskow, in the Setting Sun District. They built their home where they farmed, ranched and raised four children, Chris, Francie, Hilson and Sherry.

Aletha passed away April 12, 2023 at the Provost Health Centre with her family beside her at the age of 86 years.

Aletha will be forever loved and remembered by her and Ralph's Children, Chris (Rick) Hope, Francie (Dave) Laporte, Hilson (Linda) Maull, and Sherry (Bill) Creech; Grandchildren, JR (Jess) Hope, Shawn Hope, Nick Laporte (MacKenzie Crone), Pat Laporte (Meghan Walls), Wes Laporte, Mandy (Aaron) Christensen, Megan (Marc) Holte, Levi (Taylor) Maull, Walker Maull, Adam (Tenille) Creech, Connor (Bailey) Creech, Ted Creech (Maryn Sutherland) and Rebecca Creech (fiancee' Layne Young); Great Grandchildren, Ty Hope (Karlin Rennie),  Kallee Hope, Javier Hope, Liam Laporte, Lincoln Scherger and Mayzie Laporte, Eden and Wren Christensen, Quinn, Dallas, Wynter and Madison Holte, Brinley Maull, Benton, Ellington and Hartley Creech and Rhett and Emily Creech. She will be dearly missed by one sister, Laura Bridgeman and one brother, Warren (Dawn) Hodgins, as well as many numerous friends and relatives.

Aletha was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Maull of 54 years; her parents, Iva and Hilson Hodgins; father and mother in law, Peter and Frances Maull; sister and brother in law, Gloria and Bud Masson; brother in laws, Lorne Maull and Bruce Bridgeman and Great Grandson, baby Weston Christensen.

A Funeral for Aletha will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metiskow Community Hall in Metiskow, Alberta with Pastor Eleanor Ness and Reverend Greg Parker officiating.
