Bev and family. I was shocked to read of Grant's passing. We were in the same grade at Chauvin School and I always found Grant to be a very quiet person who didn't get involved in all the "pranks" some of the other boys took part in. Thank you for the great writeup of his adventures since school days. I had totally forgotten he started working in the Bank of Montreal at Chauvin then later Fahler. Also didn't realize he had worked for a telecommunications service and met you in Calgary!! I think I just assumed he returned to farming after graduation so I am happy he experienced several other avenues before settling on the farm. I dug out the Chauvin History book and found your write up indicating you and Grant lost a precious grand child a few years back. How devastating that must have been for your entire family!
I am so happy to have met you at my brother's funeral (Vern McNalley) in March.
By remembering the happy times, may it help to ease your loss at this sad time. Sincerely, Marlene Lagore (nee McNalley)
