Obituary of John Frances Feser

John Feser was born on July 27, 1933 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to parents, George Jr. and Mary Feser.

John was a teacher for 30 years, starting his career in Grosswerder, Saskatchewan and ending with the last 25 years in Macklin, Saskatchewan. In addition to being a well-respected educator, he held many positions in the community, some including town councillor, mayor, K of C member, coach of many, many sports teams and notably a founding member of the Macklin Minor Sports Associations.

He passed away peacefully on August 13, 2023 at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Macklin, Saskatchewan at the age of 90 years.

John was first and foremost, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. John is survived by his devoted wife, Imelda; by his 10 children, Darryl, his children Callan (Victoria), Landon (Jenna), Rhianne (Joe); Deanna (Dean) and children, Simon (Jenna), Abbey (Chris), Kimberley (Zac), Danielle (Owen), Lyndsey (Kurtis); Lynnsay (Val) and their children, Raegan (Rachel), Ashton; Lorne (Denise) and their children, Melissa (Brent), Tiffany (Joe), Tyson; Collin (Natalie) and their children, Brendan, Tanyr; Leah (Glen) and their children Spencer, Jenn (Ryan), Kendra; Myron (Rhonda) and their children Justin (Megan), Scott; Nancy (Ted) and their children Tyler (Stephanie), Brooklyn (Mark), Eric; Monique (Rob) and children Haley and Austin; Carrie (Trent) and children Jackson, Brock and Holly; 18 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Wendlin and Gabe; sister, Celine; sister in law, Angelina; brothers in law, Ted and Wilfred; and son in law, Ernest.
